Grey Skies Blue was a major project and multi-faceted body of work realised in numerous iterations as a three-screen experimental documentary with live soundtrack, an audiovisual installation with multi-source projection and an official AV release by The Spheres via independent label Almanac Recordings in 2019.
A project of rich creative collaboration that echoed the traditions of The Expanded Cinema, Grey Skies Blue closely explored the relationship between sound and the moving image to map the emotional landscape of a political protest and present an impressionistic social portrait of ideology and power.
